Temporary residence permit in Poland (TRC in Poland) – a document issued to a foreigner in order to legalize stay in Poland for a period longer than 3 months. In the case of a positive decision of state authorities, the foreigner get an official document – a residence card (temporary residence card). The maximum validity period of the document is 3 years. However, this period depends on the basis allowing the permit.
Polish temporary residence card allows foreigner to stay not only in Poland for 360 days a year, but also in the territory of other European Union countries (Schengen zone) for up to 90 days in every 180 days.
